Definition Of Idiom
The term refers to a set
expression or a phrase comprising two or more words.An interesting fact
regarding the device is that the expression is not interpreted literally.Alternatively,it
can be said that the phrase is interpreted in a figurative sense.idioms vary in
different cultures and countries.

Ø Chase your tail:
Meaning - Spending a lot of time
and energy doing a lot of things but actually achieving too little.
Example - He's been chasing his
tail all week collecting data but the report is still not ready

Meaning - Do what is expected or promised.

delivers the goods.

- Examining something carefully to not miss out any details.
